Many Ghanaian musicians are undoubtedly gifted with outstanding levels of uniqueness and Diana Hamilton is no different. Diana is one of the few musicians who received an award in the most recent Vodafone Ghana Music Awards and emerged the artist of the year for 2021.
Diana begun her music career as a back-up singer for Francis Agyei. Music for Diana started at a tender age and continued to singing in church. She served as a music director of ‘Vibrations’ during her training at the Kumasi Nursing Training College.

Apostle Felix Elvis Antwi, a former Executive Member of the Church of Pentecost and Mrs. Comfort Antwi are her parents. Diana is the third among eight children. She was born on the 4th of December 1978 in Kumasi. She then attended her primary school in Accra at Morning Star School and continued to pursue her secondary education at Ghana National College from where she went to study nursing in Kumasi. Diana is married to Dr. Joseph Hamilton and they have two children, a set of twins.

‘Osoro bekasa’ was her first album, which was released in 2007; ‘Ensi wo yie’ her second album was released in 2010. Subsequently, she released a number of gospel songs such as ‘Mo ne yo’ for which she was awarded the gospel song of the year in 2019, ‘Adom’, ‘Work in progress’, ‘W’asem’, ‘Name of the Lord, Most High God’, ‘My gratitude’ and others.

There hasn’t been a time in Diana’s music career that she hasn’t either been nominated or called to receive an award especially in the gospel music sector. Some of her awards include the Best Female Vocal Performance, Best Female Artiste, Best solo Female Music Video, Best Song of the year (UK), among others.
She is not confined to music only but has other activities she engages in such as mentoring the youth in her church, designing her own clothing styles and her love for cooking.
